Training Offer

Bright Culture consultants are all knowledgeable, with backgrounds in delivering community engagement projects across the sector and bring real-life examples to workshops. If you are looking to increase understanding and skills in any of the below areas, please do get in touch to discuss the different options. We can deliver training in person or remotely via video.

Audience Development & Community Engagement

Support understanding audience development and how having a plan and a well-thought-out strategy can benefit your site or project and increase and diversify your visitors and audiences. Within a training session, we can explore various elements of audience development to understand your current and potential audiences. The session may include creative audience consultation approaches, audience research & segmentation tools, and developing an action-focused plan – all intertwined with inspiring examples of excellent community engagement and audience development projects.

Evaluation Training

Our evaluation training workshops support teams with everything from the basics of why we evaluate – what to ask, how to collect information & evidence and how to put this to good use; through to more detailed consideration of specific methods and understanding common barriers to undertaking meaningful evaluation. We can provide advice in gathering quantitative and qualitative data, fun ways to encourage visitors to participate and support with putting in place and embedding a robust and realistic plan to undertake evaluation and reflection from the beginning to the end of your project.

Interpretation Planning

Ready to refresh or update your exhibition? Are you looking for funding to develop your interpretation? Or even starting from scratch and just wondering what interpretation is precisely and what it covers? Sessions can include an overview of different interpretation types, understanding audiences and meeting their needs, best practice examples and support with deciding themes, and writing an Interpretation Plan.

Volunteering Programmes

Have you been tasked with developing a volunteer programme at your site? Have you recently taken on the coordination of a team of volunteers? Perhaps volunteering has been happening ad hoc, and you are keen to formalise your programme or extend it and offer more flexible volunteer opportunities. We can support all the above, offering knowledge, expertise, and best practice examples.
